This information confirms the view of analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo) of KGI Securities. He is confident that the 21-inch iMac will be available earlier than 27 inches because of the new Technological display manufacturing process, which has for a particularly large matrix not perfected very well.
This is the so-called "full lamination" when the protective glass and the matrix are connected so tightly that between them is an air layer. This reduces the ability of reflective display, and it is much less glare, plus display unit itself becomes thinner.
Among other technical details iMac mention about Ivy Bridge, the use of SDD hardware platform, modern graphics cards with high performance and possible withdrawal from the optical drive. But Apple's Retina monoblocks should not be expected in the current year.
