IPhoto for Mac - instructions for beginners

Import to Library

- Using Finder, select the files or folders you want to import and click the button Import;

To view persons, Select the appropriate item in the sidebar and for the "proof of identity" click on signatures "Unknown" below each photo and enter the person's name (iPhoto will use the names of people from your address book).
Edit photos
Apple also included in the set of filters and iPhoto image editing tools, so you can make your photos even better. We can rotate photos; increase the contrast, sharpness and illumination; correct exposure; modify or change the color temperature correction. All these actions are available to us on the three tabs on the edit pane, which opens after we select the desired photo and press correction.
Once you have finished editing the image, iPhoto will automatically save your work. Later, from the library, you can share image with your family or friends.
Exporting photos
CS is a function too well implemented in iPhoto, you can easily share your photos with friends and colleagues via social networks: Facebook, Flickr, Twitter. You can also create slideshows and even order prints calendar, or greeting card.
Select the desired photo and press the button Export, Then you will be prompted to enter credentials for the account with which you want to share your photo or in the case with the preparation for printing - to specify the desired parameters, following the prompts.

As you can see, iPhoto is startlingly simple and intuitive interface. It is made in the best traditions of Apple. Nevertheless, the iPhoto has the necessary set of tools for organizing, storing and editing your photos. And most importantly, they work flawlessly.
