A quick glance at the state of the system through the Activity Monitor

It is enough to use one of the little-known utility functions "Monitoring system» (Activity Monitor), which is part of OS X. This allows you to quickly and easily estimate the CPU load, network statistics, disk activity, and memory load, throwing a quick glance looking in Doc. Setting this function only takes a few seconds:

• Open the application "Monitoring System" (usually located in / Applications / Utilities / System Monitoring)
• Make Ctrl + click on the application icon in the Dock
• Go to 'Show at the dock »(Dock Icon), where you will discover several options for system monitors to display icons instead, I chose the CPU usage
