Sidekick: Automate work on the Mac, depending on location

Here I love when any small processes can be automated. I sincerely hope that the various "smart" home, coffee makers, lamps, teapots soon will be in mass production. Even now, with the tracker Jawbone UP and light bulbs Philips Hue, you can configure the lights on in the room before getting up from sleep, for example, using service IFTTT. And what about our MacBook with you? I also want to automate some processes and on it!
It turns out you can do that, too. Suffice it to install a small utility called the Sidekick. Its icon appears in the top menu bar, from which you can run the setup of the application.
The main functional feature of the application is to configure certain actions depending on your location. To make it more clear, I will give a simple example:
Most of us have at least two places where we are most of all - it is work and home. If you use your MacBook as a desktop computer at home and at the same time, he always accompanies you on trips to work and back home, respectively. And of course, for different locations, we use different applications, websites and system settings. But each time to carry out the same manipulation of opening / closing applications, switching on and off settings - sooner or later, it's just annoying. And then comes to the aid and the Sidekick, which will automate all processes.
We ask two locations: Home and Work. Specify addresses both points (using Google Maps) and the radius in which our settings will be applied - it is convenient, if two points are in close proximity to each other. Next to each of these locations are given certain settings available in the application. For example, coming to work, I want to have me hung bluetooth, closed TelegramBrightness set at the 50%, and the browser opens a new tab with the company's website. Arriving home, I therefore want to start the messenger, including reverse bluetooth, opened MacRadar, sound stood at around 70%, and TimeMachine I began to make a backup. And all this can be configured using the Sidekick.
Naturally, depending on the tasks you are free to choose what and when to open, include, install and run. The only limitation - setting the utility itself. Various actions there to say that is very small, but also large abundance they too can not boast. However, more or less the main features that are suitable for most users, it is available. In addition, the Sidekick has support for extensions, which can create users. Some of them are already available on the website of the developers.
And everything is good in this wonderful program, if not for the price. Now she is just Bole two thousand, that you will agree, a lot. But before you buy, you can download a free trial version for review, which will run for 15 days without any restrictions.
