The main ingredients
Many products are, if not identical, the similar tastes. Especially after heat treatment. Therefore, if you are preparing a hodgepodge and not bought capers, do not worry. Dairy products and eggs are part of many dishes. Most dairy products are interchangeable. Difficulties are only with English recipes.
For example, cottage cheese - crumbly, with a strong milky taste - in the West is considered sort of young soft cheese.
