RECIPES: Useful baked falafel

For those who prefer a vegetable protein animal, beans have long been the best of friends. Of them can cook a huge number of dishes - from soups to burgers. Falafel is one of the latest variations. In contrast to the traditional eastern falafel, our balls of chickpeas are not frying in oil and baked in the oven, becoming not only delicious, but also a useful snack.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups boiled chickpea;
- a handful of parsley;
- 170 g of peanut;
- 1 small onion;
- 2 garlic cloves;
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika;
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin;
- 1 teaspoon of ground dried tomatoes;
- 1 teaspoon baking powder;
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
In this case, we need not just boiled, and even slightly tenderized chickpeas. Seethe beans help to ½ teaspoon of baking soda added to the water after boiling. Tenderized chickpeas mince or whip in blender together with nuts paste. Add the remaining ingredients, pre-chopped onions and garlic.
Thoroughly mix all hands to evenly distribute the leavening agent in the total mass of ingredients. Add the greens. Stir again.
The resulting mass is divided into 24 equal portions and each roll a ball lubricated with oil palms. Put falafel balls on a greased parchment.
Bake at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Serve just like that, with sour cream sauce, hummus and chutney or wrap in pita bread with your favorite vegetables.
