How to make scented oil at home

- Before use oil, remove it from the refrigerator and leave for 20 minutes. Let warm to room temperature.
- All recipes use olive oil extra virgin. It can be replaced by vegetable oil odorless.
1. lemon oil
Ingredients
- 250 ml of olive oil;
- zest of two lemons.
preparation
At low heat, heat the oil. It should not boil. In a pan put the lemon zest and leave to warm up for 20 minutes. Then turn off the heat. When the oil is cool, pour into a bottle. Strain is not necessary.
Using
You can fill salads, added to dishes of fish or poultry.
2. Acute spicy oil
Ingredients
- 250 ml of olive oil;
- 2 tablespoons dried pepper flakes Chile.
preparation
Crumble (with hands or a spoon) whole chilli peppers. Warm the oil in a frying pan. Put chili flakes in a pan and warm for another 5 minutes. When the oil is cool, pour into a bottle. Strain is not necessary.
Using
You can add in Asian dishes, pizzas, meat dishes, a baked vegetables.
3. basil oil
Ingredients
- 250 ml of olive oil;
- 30-50 g of the fresh green leaves basilica.
preparation
Put the basil leaves in a blender, add the butter, whisk in the mashed potatoes. The mixture was heated in a frying pan for 45 seconds. Pour hot oil through a fine sieve into a container to remove particles basil leaves. The oil must cool down. At the bottom of the container, you will see a dark sludge. 4. rosemary oil
Ingredients

Using

5. garlic oil
Ingredients
- 250 ml of olive oil;
- 1 large head garlic;
- juice of half a lemon.
preparation
Peel garlic cloves, put in a bowl and pour the lemon juice. Mix, leave for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Spread teeth in a single layer form for baking. Do not pour the lemon juice: it still is useful.
Pour garlic over the olive oil. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the form from the oven and let it cool. Transfer the teeth of the spoon form into the container. You can cover them with the remaining lemon juice and pure oil, put in the refrigerator and then use this mixture in another dish. Olive oil from the baking dish, pour into a bottle.
Using
Universal oil that is suitable for any dish.
All recipes can be implemented in a different way. You can not warm up, but just to mix oil and spices in a bottle of dark glass. Then this oil should insist 12-14 days. But this method is not suitable for the preparation of garlic oil, because it may be damaged or become dangerous to health.
6. Flavored oil for fresh bread
This oil is delicious in itself and can become an indispensable part of breakfast. The combination of spices is ideal for fresh bread. Therefore, it is flavored with butter so nice to dip a slice of baguette.
Ingredients
- 500 ml of olive oil;
- 1 tablespoon of dried basil;
- 1 tablespoon of dried parsley;
- 1 teaspoon thyme;
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano;
- 1 teaspoon black pepper;
- ½ teaspoon of dried crushed rosemary.
preparation
Warm spices in a pan, to enhance the smell. Pour the warmed spices in the bottle and pour the oil. Such oil can be directly supplied to the table.
Using
The oil supplied in small saucers to fresh bread for breakfast or as a snack to fault (together with baguette). Before serving, you can add salt and chopped garlic. It goes well with grated hard cheese, olives, and dried meat.
