How to cook fish in four simple steps

It is no secret that the fish - a very healthy dish. In fish there and proteins, and healthy fats, and essential minerals. And in this article we'll show you one of the easiest ways to cook most tender fish with a golden crust on a couple, but without the help of a double boiler.

First, where to start, it is to pull moisture from the fish with paper towels. This step is especially important if you are cooking frozen fish, in which a lot of water by default.

Pour two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan. Can be used as frying pans, cast iron, and with the non-stick coating.
But oil should be selected such that withstand high temperatures. For these purposes it is better suited peanut, canola and corn. But olive oil should not be used, because it burns at low temperatures.
Heat the oil over medium heat for about three minutes.

Take four carcass, steaks or fish fillets (about 2-3 cm thick and weighing approximately 180 grams), season with salt and pepper, put into the pan. Leave for two minutes.

Then flip the fish toasty side up and tightly cover the pan lid (or foil, if the cover is not present), so that the steam does not go outside of the fish. Remove the bowl from the heat and allow the fish to reach the readiness for a couple. It takes no more than 10 minutes.

Helpful advice
To add flavor, use herbs or lemon slices. For example, place the fish on a sprig of rosemary. Under the influence of steam aroma of herbs increases and saturates fish.
