A simple recipe of jam of pears

Pear - a great fruit. In addition to a bright color and a saturated interesting taste, it has a mass of useful properties and almost completely transmits them to jam. But because of the large amounts of sugar have this delicacy better little by little.
Jam can be made from any variety of pears, and each of them will give the dessert its taste and aroma. However, for this recipe better suited, hard fruit pulp otherwise seethe and beautiful amber slices will not work.
Ingredients
- 1 kg of pear;
- 1 kg of sugar;
- 2 cups of water;
- 1 lemon.
preparation
Pears rinse well. Remove the core and tails and cut into slices.
Mix in a deep pan water and sugar.
Place over medium heat and cook until the syrup until the sugar is completely dissolved. If you see foam, remove it.
In the finished syrup, send slices of pears and simmer until cooked - until pears become transparent.
On a fine grater grate the lemon zest.
Boil the jam for 2 hours, stirring regularly.
At the end of cooking, add the lemon zest to the jam was not cloying.
Pear jam ready to serve tea, or roll up to the banks and save up to winter.
