VIDEO: Drones built rope bridge

The main function of the drones - to perform work in hazardous or hard-to-person field. Therefore quadrocopter, creating a rope bridge, strong enough to withstand the weight of a person - it's very cool. Just seems a number of scenarios in which it can be applied in real life.

Video shot in the Swiss Institute of Technology Zurich. In addition to the supports on both sides, the whole structure was built drones. Bridge length of 7.4 m was generated from superalloy polyethylene fiber Dyneema, which, thanks to its lightness, ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles devices.

And that's not all. Before drones started to work, the room was provided with a plurality of motion sensors that recorded data about the movements and actions of machines. Scientists working on the project, saying that it is just a demonstration of the possibilities - the first attempt show that small UAV capable of creating structures that may well be used for real needs.
