Trailer released "war of currents" about Edison and Tesla

Trailer appeared on YouTube the historical drama "War of currents» (The Current War). The film tells about the opposition of Thomas Edison, George Westinghouse and Nikola Tesla. Their roles were played by Nicholas Hoult, Michael Shannon and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Also in the film played by Tom Holland and Katherine Waterston. The script was written by Michael Mitnick, and acted as producer Martin Scorsese and Timur Bekmambetov.

The film tells about the struggle of scientists for the use of AC and DC. Their rivalry began in the 80s of the XIX century and ended only in 2007, when New York finally moved from DC to AC.

The worldwide box office film was supposed to be back in 2017, but because of the scandal with Harvey Weinstein, whose studio and engaged in filming, painting had to be removed from the chart. Later bought the film rights to the company 101 Studios, which appointed the exit to October 2019.
