Hidden feature of Mac OS X Lion allows you to synchronize files between any poppies

While Apple are service «Documents in the Cloud» as a way to store and sync iWork files, it became clear that users Mac OS X Lion can use the service to synchronize any type of files between Mac devices.
Mobile folder is the Documents, hidden in ~ / Library /, is used to sync iWork files between different devices that are linked to the same account iCloud. However, the Macworld found that if you put in this folder any other file, it is synchronized to the same folder Mac other devices connected to this account iCloud provided enabled document synchronization and data. Lion even inform about the conflicts in the file versions and offers solutions when opening a document.
At the moment, a similar synchronization with iOS devices can not.
Nevertheless, this discovery shows that Mac OS X Lion already contains an architecture that allows not only to create Dropbox similar service, but also allow third-party developers to use the functionality iCloud in its applications.
Below is a brief instruction on the use of iCloud to synchronize different file types.
1. Turn on the document and data syncing to iCloud
2. Go to ~ / Library / in your home folder
3. Locate Mobile Documents folder (if this folder does not exist, just create and save any iWork document)
4. Make an alias or just drag the folder to the sidebar, so you always had access to it:
Now all dragged in Mobile Documents files will be synchronized between tied to your iCloud account poppies.
