Dmitry Gorchakov told what tool we use to create GIF-screencasts. Today I will tell you about the other two programs, which can also help.
we use animated GIF-images on the pages Layfhakera. I admit, not all readers are looking for. In some places, the author attempts to use them to spice up the article fail. But most of GIF-animation is appropriate. For example, it was she, and not the video demonstrates, how to speed up the work in Excel.
Dmitry Gorchakov told what tool we use to GIF-creating screencasts. Today I will tell you about two other programs, which may also help.
Gyazo
Gyazo - it skrinshoter. Highlight the desired area of the screen, you make it a screenshot. He immediately downloaded to the network, it creates a public link, and so you can share your image. In principle, nothing new, such programs already exist. For example, "Yandex. Disc "is the same and has a built-in image editor.
What can not analogues Gyazo, so do it GIF files, and MP4. This skrinshoter can shoot Vine - the so-called shestisekundnye videos that got its name from the eponymous video service. It looks like this:
After the download is complete on Gyazo server opens a link to your file. It turns out very simply. Unfortunately, this simplicity has a few drawbacks:
- You can not change the duration of the video - only fixed for 6 seconds;
- the cursor is not visible;
- it is impossible to establish the exact value of the area captured.
Here's what a GIF-file received during the demonstration. As you can see, there is no cursor. Example I was shooting another program, which will be discussed below.
Gyazo
LICEcap
LICEcap is a complete program for the removal of screencasts in GIF format. As with GifCam from the first part, it has a frame to limit the captured area. Start can be several such frames. Here is an example LICEcap recording made her same.
Here is a list of features LICEcap:
- a three-second delay before shooting;
- size setting field for gripping;
- pause / continue shooting;
- the printing during a pause;
- Changing the number of frames per second;
- the cursor is recorded;
- the possibility of time-lapse animation is missing.
LICEcap
As you can see, all three programs - GifCam, LICEcap and Gyazo - different. Each of them has its pros and cons, which can be corrected in Photoshop. What will suit you more - depending on the specific problem. Do avatars, record screencasts, create animations from your favorite video - all in your hands!
