On-5 - a development team that created such well-known and popular games like Charadium and Quizarium. Anton, a spokesman for the company, has kindly agreed to answer a few questions "Makradara". We are talking, of course, about the game, and iPad.
Tell us about On-5 team, which has created and Sharadium Kvizarium. How it was formed? How it all began?
It all started spontaneously. Heroes met through the network. One had the strength, the other - ideas. After discussing, we decided to do. Development took about a month, a few weeks spent on testing and "licking". In testing actively helped Leper!
ngmoco :) plans to release 6 games for the iPad in the near future. Are there any plans for you? Will you adapt your game or maybe release some programs specifically for the iPad?
In fact, one of the games ngmoco :), which will be released for the iPad - a is Charadium: they bought it. We have already completed the reworking of the game for this revolutionary device, and 3 April hoping for a warm welcome the first of its owner happy.
What do you think of the iPad as a gaming platform?
iPad - a completely new platform, even industry. Nobody has been able to make a simple home computer, which really could be called a warm "home." Finally, comfort comes first: the work on the Internet, email, games, photos will become more accessible, easier and more enjoyable.
On-5, if you believe your site has released in the App Store 2 game. Another, apparently in the works. Have you faced difficulties with the test? What do you think about the process of reviewing applications?
There were no complications, always checked quickly and accurately. Since we have all fixed on the server, we have even seen people from apple, go in the game (that's just to play together could not be with them). It is noteworthy that Charadium and Quizarium always fall into any «What we are playing», «New and noteworthy »,« Best games »- one can say with certainty that it involved the very people who originally take the game.

Are there any restrictions on the iPhone platform, you would like to see Apple removed?
Something which, as restrictions in the iPhone platform (if not to say the obvious - the small size of the screen is not very powerful processor, etc.) virtually none. At least, we do not "lucky" to bump into any of them.
Do you have any plans to release versions of their games to other platforms - Android, first of all?
It was originally thought, but after studying the market and the experience of the big players in the industry (which is the direction of the fold), we decided to wait. Perhaps, the Ovi currently even much more interesting than Android.
It is believed that success can only count those games that contain a social component. Do you agree with this?
Completely disagree. Look in the top appstore - games for all tastes. But the social component - this is something that is interesting to us, multiplayer games much more lively and real.
Are there any trends in mobile gaming?
Personally, we see a couple of things that are happening now. The first - the game becomes more complicated budgets - thicker, which is largely due to the advent of the iPhone game developers for the classic platform: they simply turn up the bar. The second - a change of the business model, there are more games in the vein «freemium» (ngmoco :) here pioneers, they generally refused to sell the game). And the third - it is more use of the opportunities of players to be online - Multiplayer!
How serious is the problem of piracy for iPhone games? Is it enough to present remedies like FairPlay, and Apple should take more decisive steps to combat piracy?
The problem of piracy is. Charadium hacked hour after popping out to the store. Pirates - many (and not only from the CIS). If Apple does not want to solve the protection issues more seriously, maybe it's part of their plan.
In our own gaming system is designed so that we can see all the pirates, and could turn them off if you'd like.
In the business of games for the iPhone came major publishers - Electronic Arts, Gameloft and others. Do you have a chance to single developers or should at least be united in a team?
Large publishers will be engaged in major cases, so that the chances of development of single and small teams are much the same as they were. If the product is good, albeit simple, and the developers have a desire to promote them - then do it!
