Learn how to not be distracted by advertising and save time by reading only what you're interested in.
After the introduction of algorithmic news feed in Instagram have to flip through the whole kilometers posts wading through the jungle of advertising and information noise to get to the publications for which I sign. If you are tired of spending a lot of time on this, there is a great solution - to read the tape via RSS.
The idea is to create RSS-feed to interest profile or hashtag and then read it in your favorite RSS-reader. It sounds a bit strange, but in fact it is quite convenient. Here's what to do.
Step one. Create RSS-feed
In Instagram no built-in tool for creating RSS-Feed, so you have to use one of the third-party services. For example, Webstagram or any other.
For the formation of the feed through Webstagram only need to add the name of the profile or hashtag to the end of the corresponding links:
- for profiles - https://websta.me/rss/n/ПРОФИЛЬ;
- for hashtags - https://websta.me/rss/tag/ХЕШТЕГ.
To create an RSS-feed Layfhakera tape, add at the end of lifehacker_ru and get https://websta.me/rss/n/lifehacker_ru.
To feed hashtag operate on the same principle: adding LayfhakerDarit and get https://websta.me/rss/tag/ЛайфхакерДарит.
Step Two. We subscribe to the RSS-feed
When we have a link that is suitable for importing into any RSS-reader, we can only subscribe to it. This can be done from the application of the reading room or its service aggregator. The second option is preferable: you can read the tape on any of their devices, and synchronize it. As an example, try to subscribe to the files generated in the previous step, RSS-links through Feedly.
1. Feedly open and click on the Add content button.
2. We put in our search box and click the link for it.
3. Follow Hit and choose which folder to add a subscription.
4. Done!
Step Three. read
That's all. You can now view Instagram publication via any RSS-reader on your smartphone, tablet, computer or browser. It looks like this.
