4 things that you do not tell the pilot of the aircraft

You are part of the summer? Do you all know about the "behind the scenes" of the airfare? There are at least four things that you do not tell the pilots, but you should know.
One of the pilots, who wished to remain anonymous, shared a few facts, which are not aware of a passenger plane, as it should be. For example, why should not drink coffee on board ...
I am a pilot regional airline, which makes internal flights under the brand name of a large company. Many do not know that most of their flights are precisely regional airlines under the name of well-known partners (eg, Delta, United, USAir, and others.). Incidentally, the major airlines pilots earn less than their colleagues earn a few years ago.
But this is not all that do not know the aircraft passengers. There are a few things that you do not tell the pilots.
Do not drink coffee on board the aircraft
Drinking water, which is used on board, served simply disgusting. It added a lot of chemistry, to prevent the proliferation of bacteria and fungi, and hence the reason tasteless coffee on board is not in coffee, and chemicals that are in the water.
Most of the time we do not know where we are
Of course, we use special navigation systems, in which loads our upcoming itinerary before departure. We can tell you how far away from your destination and where there is now, in general terms, but no more (at least, we do not see anything in the window). Of course, there are on-board maps, but very few of us use them.
We constantly forget about the button "Fasten seat belts"
If during your flight lamp is lit "Fasten seat belts" for 30 or 40 minutes of quiet flight, you know, we just forgot to turn it off. I know a lot of drivers who leave a warning on for the entire flight. However, sometimes we get warning gusts of air and leave a light bulb turned on, unless it has ascertained that the alarm was false.
Some of us take a gun
Of course, it is no secret, and the carrying of weapons pilots officially authorized. We regularly go through teaching and adhere to standards for the use of weapons.
These are just some of the things that you do not hear from the pilots. Have a good flight!
