Danes say that, apart from the Queen Margaret, who, by the way, they are very respected, they have another king - the beer "Tuborg". Nationals Margaret II love it so much that in 1888 even put the "Tuborg" monument. Yes, what!
Tower Tuborg - this 26-meter beer bottle with a company label. You to appreciate the scale: in this "container" can hold about half a million ordinary beers.
When the monument was built only, it is often compared to the Eiffel Tower. And all because it was the first building in Denmark, equipped with a hydraulic lift, which rises to the top of the public, to the observation deck, located in the "traffic jam".
Initially, the tower was located in the city center, not far from City Hall (the Danes wanted to show how proud of their bottled beer in the North Industrial Exhibition (The Nordic Industry Exhibition)), and then it moved to the area Hillerød. But with Tuborg observation deck, you can still enjoy views of Copenhagen.

As a result, reflected in the walls of the park creates a natural transition between the structure and the landscape.
At night, the "mirror" are closed, and the house looks quite normal, and in the afternoon he is like a magnet, attracts strolling in the park kids.

One of the main attractions of Copenhagen - is, of course, the Little Mermaid statue. But not many know that the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about unrequited love sea creatures to man - is nothing more than an interpretation of old Danish epics.
According to legend, one young farmer Agnetha was walking along the beach, and suddenly appeared out of the sea depths of water. He extended his hand and said, "Come with me." She fell in love at first sight, and went after the water. She bore him seven sons and, as they say, they would have lived happily ever after. But, unfortunately, Agnetha sitting at the cradle of the younger son, he heard the sound of the bells that emanated from the land. Her heart ached - so she longed for home. The girl began to ask her husband's permission to go to church. Water is allowed, but with several conditions: not to dissolve the hair in the church and not to stand there on his knees, and did not see his mother. Agnetha agreed, but did not fulfill mandates spouse.
She went to the bank and did not return to the sea. Since then, the Water and his seven sons are waiting for her.
This story was immortalized by artist Suste Bonnen. See how the Water and his children "are waiting" Agnetha, it can be a fine day, standing on the bridge Højbro.
