REVIEW: "VKontakte 2" for iPhone?

Today on the site Appradar we published a post about "VKontakte 2" application, which is distributed free of charge temporarily. And Layfhakere decided to examine in more detail its functionality because the application seemed to us very worthy. There are many alternatives "vkontaktovskomu" application, which is released by the developers. But they all seem to be very dim. But "VKontakte 2" features some interesting pieces, but the color scheme and overall design of the application looks like "VKontakte".

On closer examination it appears that the design looks more interesting and enjoyable.

Cool made the section "Media", which is represented by three categories: Audio, Video and Photo (in the original application audio only). You can also directly upload video and photos, without using the profile. Videos can be downloaded and in attachment, when you post the news on their wall.

"VKontakte 2" allows you to perform a few the important settings:

- notification settings (vibration, sound, pop-up line);

- Set up regular push-notifications, which can be turned off, for example, 8 hours, so they do not bother you during the working day;

- the ability to customize the images so as to use less traffic;

- Set sticker icon.

One of the most interesting features in the application "VKontakte 2" - is the possibility to make audio and video calls from the application. And it would have been more, and most useful, perhaps, if not so much slowed down, and the sound would have been normal. Hopefully, the developer will be engaged in finalizing this functionality.

General application "VKontakte 2" is more ergonomic, clear and beautiful. Like the friends list, in which just as in the "Media", three categories: friends, and online applications. Finding friends is valid transliteration (ie, for example, when you enter the Latin "of L ', will be searched and names from Russian" L "). The only pity is that there is no calendar with birthdays.

More trivia: auto-update news feeds, news search by hashtag. "VKontakte 2" supports iOS 6 and the new iPhone 5.

Overall, I thought this app is a nice and easy than native from "VKontakte". You also have a great opportunity to evaluate it themselves, until it is free.
