This phenomenon is more and more popular. About freelancing written many articles, essays, short stories, life hacking and other "creatures". I want to share with you my "invaluable experience" freelancing in the field of IT. I will try to be as objective as possible. As a spoiler to say that if you want to consistently earn a lot of money if you are a young and ambitious specialist if you have never worked "Uncle", then you will not work. Freelancing is simply not for you. Or not yet for you. Work at freelancing will ruin all your professional inclinations, and you turn into a red-eyed zombies whose qualifications did not even reach the qualifying office worker mediocre.

In life everything is arranged in such a way that all that apply to someone else, probably not right for you. And it is right. And if someone has achieved success by doing or whatever, but it in a known manner, it is likely that you do not get. But if someone makes a mistake, then you are likely to admit them too. I will try to bring a list of errors that I made. If you once chose to be on the slippery slope of freelancing, be sure to repeat them. Then you remember this note and realize that you are not alone.

Error One: Revaluation of own possibilities

This is the most terrible, the worst mistake of those who can imagine. Its price is very high. Just remember that. If you look at the job and understand that you do not know how to do it, never handle the project. Even if you have in the fridge, even the ice ended. Do not take such a project.

Error Two: I will never go to work in the office

Only plankton working in the office, I'm better and smarter. Crap! Even if you are a child prodigy, still there is a chance (about 99 (9)%) in the office of a person who is more skilled you are in any professional question. They should learn. Plus you will need to get up 5 days a week at a specific time. And this is a discipline.

Error three: Greed

If you somehow inexplicably prevented the first two errors, and went through these trials with dignity, you will have customers. They will have to appreciate and love. Will pay the money. And you will want more and more. Because you will be working more. Result - 3 hours of sleep per night, back ache, red eyes, possibly even mental disorders. And for what? For the sake of money, which then will go for treatment? It is necessary to you?

Error Four: Lack of self

It is also a step into the abyss. So it happens that you can earn a lot of money just by doing qualitative medium complexity projects. Even in the manual do not look. For a year or two you will not need anyone, new technologies will be held by you, as a true and whole life. With the current opportunities to learn just a sin not to use them. The Internet is not just for porn and seals. Know this.

Error Five: Lack of live communication

Earned sometimes I understand that a week did not talk to anybody (the cashier does not count). Meet people. Go for a walk in pleasant places, travel. Not for you if it does not go to the office?
