If your language teacher makes you manually record the word to the dictionary, a notebook, do not settle for the stupidity and educate these retrogrades about Anki and method of spaced repetition. Spaced repetition - a necessary condition for that would be something to learn when it actually happens, "flashing" of the brain. It is scientifically proven psychologist Ebbinghaus back in 1885, which brought such a thing as forgetting curve.

How to work with Lingua. Get

Lingua program. Get is designed to work in Windows operating system. It requires no installation and runs a simple click on the file Lingua.get.exe

When you first start you must specify the email address and password from LinguaLeo site, and click "Login":

In subsequent sessions with the program, to pass authorization is no longer necessary. If you want to change the user, go to the programs directory, delete the file «cookies.txt», and sign in with a new user.

The next step - select the lingualeo.ru site from which to download the words:

If you choose the first or second paragraph immediately download a list of words. After clicking on the third point will need to select a category and an additional set of words.

The last step - to save downloaded a list of words in one of three formats.

«Online» - list of words is saved in text format, Anki understand the program. Links to the sounds and the images are directly to the Internet.

«Offline» - a text file for Anki + program folder with all the sounds and pictures. Links to a text file in the folder are collection.media in Anki work profile.

«Html» - a file with a list of words. Links to the sounds and the images are directly to the Internet.

Note 1: The mode «offline» download pictures and sounds should be made to the folder collection.media Profile Anki program, which will be later recover this deck. The path must be selected in the drop-down list on the upload form:

Instructions for creating decks in Anki program

Now let's talk about Anki program and creating it on the deck we received a text file.

When Anki startup (or through menu "File> Change Profile ..."), select the profile, which collection.media folder already are pictures and sounds loaded contact.

Then create a new record type, such as «Leo». This is done via the "Tools" menu, select "Manage types of records ...", "Add" button. Open the form "Record Types", in which we harvest, as shown below:

And be sure to specify the font field of transcription «Arial Unicode MS» or «Lucida Sans Unicode»

Now open the form for creating the type of card:

Then in the menu Anki do import a text file made in the Lingua program. Get

We check that everything is as shown below, and click "Import"

Using a mobile device Anki

If you want to learn words without connecting to the internet or on a mobile device (as I'm doing it in AnkiDroid program), you must use offline-saving mode of the dictionary.

In order that would teach the cards on your mobile device, you need to make an account in Web version of Anki, Press the sync button and enter your credentials.

Further already AnkiDroid sinhroniztsii click on the button - and all the cards will be downloaded to your mobile device with pictures and sounds.

Anki widget allows you to see how many cards you need to repeat. Once you have a dictionary Lingualeo - put their application and pull the widget "Leo sprint."
