Running as an alternative to "usual" rest

This became the subject of jokes, anecdotes, the cause of many crazy things and a reason to boast ( "I am here yesterday a bottle of vodka in one's throat for an hour vyzhrat, but you weak?"). And this is considered normal. It seems that everyone knows that alcohol, like nicotine, is injurious to health, but it is still considered one of the best (If not the best) way to solve all the problems, to establish communication with strangers, and simply relax. And now I want to talk first about alcohol as a way of recreation have become commonplace.
After a hard day or week a person just need to relax, turn away from thoughts about work, forget about pressing issues. Together with the above-described passion for drinking, it turns into a sad anecdote. Hence, the Internet became popular in the song "Every Friday, I'm in the shit" former KVNschikov Seeds Slepakova. Frankly, I've long been "rested" in this way. And now, to confess, I periodically puts on a friendly booze. But I found myself for a much more efficient way to unwind after a hard day's work, and his name - running.
Running is ideal for the "reset" the brain twitched everyday tasks. Rhythmic movements over time introduce you to the state of trance, meditation, which airs his head, like an open window on a windy day ventilate the apartment. - It is more useful. Nobody, I hope, will not argue with that statement. If we are not talking about professional athletes who die on the treadmill, but about the calm and leisurely recreational jogging, the body damage is not harmful. Unlike alcohol.
- It's cheaper. Each booze, usually comes at a price. Bottle, then the second, yes appetizer, but then for a third run... I'm not talking about pubs and bars, which, in my opinion, trying to recoup a portion of the bottle. At your expense and at the expense of your health.
- It is a matter of respect. When I started running, many friends did not believe me at first, but when they believed, began to marvel at, say what also want. Total, that we have in the dry residue? Habitual in our strange way to unload after a hard day's work there is a worthy, useful and working alternative, does not cause a hangover and addictive. While there, habit still is - to start running, stop already difficult.
