Desserts for runners: homemade pasta with peanuts and almonds

In many recipes, energy bars and other tasty and very nutritious desserts for runners as the basis used peanut or almond paste. Cook them is not difficult. How? We describe in this post.
Peanut paste
Ingredients:
- 220 g of roasted peanuts;
- 1/2 teaspoon salt;
- 1 teaspoon of honey;
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (preferably peanut).
Preparation. Pilled peanuts and honey send to processor bowl and milled, gradually adding the oil in a few minutes. As a result, you get about a cup of smooth peanut butter.
Some recipes add more honey or oil or longer grind ingredients. You have to look at what you get, and change the cooking time or the amount of liquid ingredients, depending on the desired consistency. But be careful with vegetable oil: it is then partially separated from the main body, so do not overdo it! A thin upper layer of vegetable oil in a couple of hours has constantly nut butter - it is quite normal.
almond paste
Ingredients:
- almond;
- a pinch of salt.
Preparation. In this case, it's much easier than with peanut butter. You just put the roasted almonds (one cup or more) in a food processor and add a pinch of salt, if you like a bit of salty taste. Then milled nuts over time. 15-20 minutes or even more - it all depends on almonds. Periodically, you need to be off the food processor and mix nut mass until it reaches the desired consistency of the paste.
I have one small cup of almonds (volume - 200 ml) are ground almost half an hour. I suspect that if there were more almonds, pasta would cook faster :)
