In 2012, the 36-year-old James Lawrence has completed 30 triathlons and broke the old record (20 triathlon competition), for which he got into the Guinness Book of Records. Who would have thought that my first triathlons this person has completed only four years ago?! In fact, endurance was clearly not his forte, he had no experience, was given a tough triathlon.
Once passed 30 triathlons James clearly define their physical and mental limits and decided to wipe the greater - set a target of 50 full Ironman triathlon competitions in 50 days in 50 states. In 2015, in his 39 years of James Lawrence he went to conquer new heights and has announced that it is making in order to draw the world's attention on the problem of obesity, and raises money to fund the fight against child obesity.
His family and his team accompanied him at every competition.
The best day. The best family. # IC50 # IC505050 #ironcowboy #recap PC: @jessakae

Each morning breakfast consume about 3500 kcal, which was about half of daily energy expenditure (kcal 7 000 000-8): Eggs and pancakes.
The most difficult race - Arizona and Tennessee. James fell asleep and fell off his bicycle at the 30th mile route. I had to quickly bring the bike in order, and in the end the race was held with a large number of road adventures.
The most affected parts of the body - Feet!

The most interesting for the fans and all those who followed the "iron cowboy": every race, every marathon James invited everyone to join him in the last 5 km free, but visitors could donate any amount Jamie Oliver Food Foundation, a nonprofit organization that teaches children to eat right and fights with child obesity.
Since participation in such competitions (contributions), special sports equipment and food are expensive, James was looking for sponsors. One of them, by making a donation in the amount of $ 100 000, was an American film director, specializing in documentaries, Yakov Schwartz.
It seems impossible still possible. ;)
